Shani Russell and Warrick Eccles

We are really proud sponsors of both Shani and Warrick (Wazza). Shani is a Strongwoman and Wazza is a Powerlifter and Strongman.

Shani Russell (our little Pocket Rocket)

Shani is a very proud mum of 2 gorgeous boys, Zeth and Tahj. She signed up to MFW on the 6th of Jan 2018 and hasn't looked back since. Shani already had a very fit and healthy back ground which included Pole Dancing so it was no surprise when she became interested in Strongwoman training. From there she has gone from strength to strength literally. With many competitions already under her tiny belt (a few firsts) in a weight category of under 62.5kg she is one of the strongest women if not the strongest women in the gym.

She is now doing the Strongman Training course and helping out with our SM/SW classes.

Shani has been one of our biggest supporters and we are so very proud of her achievements and extremely proud to be sponsoring her.

Her goal is the Arnolds in 2021

Warrick Eccles (Wazza)

Warrick is also a proud parent to 3 beautiful kids, Leo (his biggest supporter), Oscar and Bonnie (not pictured). He started Powerlifting 4.5years ago and has competed in some of the most prestigious comps since. At the beginning of the year he was crowned Victoria's 2nd strongest man. On the 2nd of November he competed in Big Dogs 4. This is an invitation only comp and even though he wasn't happy with his results just to get an invite is a testament to his dedication to the sport.

Warrick started out as a skinny young kid and in 4.5 yrs he has grown in to being the Strongest man in Warrnambool and we are so very proud to be sponsoring him.

Warrick has also helped a few of our guy's prep and train for their first ever competitions.

Warrick is in the process of organising a Novice Powerlifting Comp here at MFW, this is the very first for Warrnambool and all proceeds are going to Beyond Blue.

If you would like to enter please register HERE the comp is being capped at 45 competitors and 100%of the proceeds are going to Beyond Blue.

Or if you would just like to donate HERE
