6 reasons to do an Ironman Triathlon:

  1. AN IRONMAN IS EPIC:

An Ironman is an all day event but the atmosphere you will experience will be life changing. For one day you will be treated as a hero, inspire other people and achieve what you may have thought was impossible.

You will race along side some of the best athletes n the world, striving for the same goal of reaching that finish line and to hear the words "YOU ARE AN IRONMAN

2. IT TAKES A TEAM:

Behind every Ironman there is a team of people providing support along your Journey. Your family and friends will there  to support, encourage and to give you the inspiration you need to cross the finish line.

3. ARE YOU FIT ENOUGH TO GO THE DISTANCE?

If you are willing enough to put in the training, there is nothing stopping you, except you!

4. ARE YOU WILLING TO MAKE SACRIFICES?

You may be required to train up to 6 days per week, 1 - 2 hours per day, with a long ride on the weekend. There will be early starts, missed social occasions, not so many late nights and time management.
ONCE YOU PASS THE FINISH LINE IT WILL ALL BE WORTH IT!

5. ARE YOU WILLING TO TRAIN CONSISTENTLY

Out of every training session you do, consistency is the key

6. ARE YOU HAPPY TO WALK?

Even after the Swim and Bike Legs, you will have been on you feet for at least 8 hours already and now you need to complete a full Marathon. So here is the question - ARE YOU HAPPY TO WALK?

By accepting the fact that this is an event of a lifetime rather than a race, you will most likely need to walk at some stage of the course. Accept this and embrace it, absorb the moment and reflect on the training and sacrifice you have made to get to this point.

We can take the worry of over training or under training off you, and provide support from the very beginning until the moment you cross that finish line (and even after if you decide to continue training for future events).
